There is an explicit error raised by InstallTrigger.install but that is being caught by the try.catch that surrounds that call and so it is not visible in the webconsole:īased on a quick look to the stack trace, the installation seems to be triggered through a DOM event handler for the 'click' event, which should be detected as handling user input, but I suspect that something in between the click event handler and the call to InstallTrigger.install is preventing the 'handling user input' flag to be propagated up to the call to InstallTrigger.install (e.g.

but the InstallTrigger.install call is hitting the user activation requirement introduced in Bug 1759737.InstallTrigger is on the deprecation path as the warnings visible in the webconsole are also mentioning, but they are still enabled and so Bug 1754441 is not (yet) what is currently preventing the install flow from being triggered on.I just looked into this to confirm what is actually preventing the install flow from being triggered, and I've updated Bug 1754441 and Bug 1759737 accordingly. I'm pretty sure could tell us who we could contact at dashlane to fix this.
